2019 marks the 18th season of Women on Water (WOW), connecting women from all areas of metro Vancouver, paddling kayaks in beautiful Deep Cove, every Thursday evening throughout the summer.
Women on Water is one of our most popular events, as each Thursday evening throughout the summer sees women of all paddling abilities come together for a relaxed, semi-guided paddle on Indian Arm. Our experienced volunteers lead the paddle and keep the group together.
There are also special themed nights throughout the summer, such as Date Night, Mother Daughter Night and the ever popular Dress Up Night, where everyone is encouraged to wear their finest dresses…as long as you don’t mind if they get a bit damp of course!
Most paddlers have some experience but newcomers are very welcome. WOW is for kayaks and surfskis only.
$28 plus tax for a single kayak
$39 plus tax for a double kayak
Reservations allowed up to one week in advance.
You are welcome to bring your own boat and join in the paddle.
Dates & Times
Every Thursday commencing April 25th, 2019.
Check in from 6pm for 6.30pm start.
The paddle usually goes for about 2 hours, weather and light dependent.
