Have friends coming into town for the big events this winter and want to show them around? Interested in seeing our snow capped mountains from a different perspective? The water is clear and the air is crisp at this time of year. This winter we are offering 2.5 hour daily guided tours from 10:30-1:00pm. Our knowledgeable guides will share the local history, discuss the geography, and interpret the marine wildlife. The tour includes a fiberglass kayak and equipment, locally made treat, hot chocolate or tea, and paddling attire. Groups are kept small for more informative and intimate tours.
The 2010 Winter Explorer is open to all abilities; our professional guides will cover the basic concepts of kayaking before getting on the water.
