We have these 5 teams based in Deep Cove:
The North Shore Dragon Busters are a breast cancer survivors dragon boat team paddling out of glorious Deep Cove. Our mandate is to show people that a healthy, active life after a breast cancer diagnosis is possible.
We plan to compete locally, nationally and internationally and last year most of us paddled on an Abreast in a Boat dragon boat team that participated in the "Abreast in Australia Global Regatta" where we placed 4th in the world and were the best team from North America.
We invite any woman who has had a breast cancer diagnosis to join us. We have fun, are supportive and encouraging, and you do not need to have paddled before. If you are interested in getting information about the team please contact Liz Burrows at eburrows@shaw.ca

The team evolved from a mixed team called Dragon Stew in 1999, to become today's women's team - Deep Cove Catch 22.
STRONG and SILENT, the power is captured within our spirit as we slip first and quietly into the icy waters of Deep Cove, in early March! We are feminine rugged individualists adventuress who are committed to keeping our team competitive while still enjoying the camaraderie known only to dragoneers.
We are guided with the stealth and knowledge for the past 9 years of a winning coach, Chris Graham who has paddled recreationally for 20 years, both in outrigger and dragon boating. Chris was a member of the Canadian Women's Team when they competed internationally and won both in Berlin and Hong Kong.
Together we bring the confidence and determination that is gained by a sport we love and collectively has 122 years of paddling experience. Our team believes in enjoying life and living it to the fullest as reflected in our team cheer:
"Paddle for Fun, Race to WIN!"

The INSINK Dragon Boat team has been paddling together since 2001. The team blends a solid core group of paddlers and amazing rookies bringing new blood each season. INSINK won Gold Medals in the Women's Diamond Division at the Kelowna Dragon Boat Festival in 2007. We train Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6:45 to 8:30 from March to September. For more information, please contact team manager, Debbie Fraser at insinkdragonboat@hotmail.com

Team Contact for Perfect Catch is coming soon.
We are an eclectic group of 27 women that have been paddling together, some for as long as 9 years, others have joined along the way. During the winter months when we are not paddling, we are dryland training together. With the help of our coach, who finely tunes us both on and off the water, we are closer not only as a team, but in friendship too. We are committed to the sport but also know how to have an awful lot of fun.
Paddles Up.
