Super Loop

A paddle only night. Racers stashed their running shoes with a sigh of relief. 61 racers lined up at the start and bolted South for a clockwise loop of Grey Rocks Island and then Boulder Island. The front paddlers had to cross over their path and timing was critical to avoid collision with other paddlers. Some big rolling waves made trouble for the surf skiers and fun for the ocean boats. I was in the drink blowing my chance for a 3rd place finish. Oh Well.
