Paddlers were divided into teams of 3 boats. 1 boat had to go to Grey Rocks, 1 had to go to Jug Island, 1 had to go to Lone Rock Pt. The team had to rendezqvous at the 5 km can and return to Deep Cove. The trick was to figure the furthest distance and send the faster paddler there. My team made the mistake of sending me on the longest journey, which just meant they had to wait while I climbed back on my boat....3 times. The start was chaotic, as paddlers attempted to cross pathes. Most off the paddlers reached the bouy at the same time and it was a mad dash for the shore |
