CRCA Level 1 Skills Course

The Canadian Recreation Canoe Association (CRCA) has national certification levels for paddlers in search of official recognition of their skill level. With a wide range of recreation and instructor based programs the CRCA allows paddlers to gain knowledge, skill and invaluable experiences as they gain higher levels of certification. The purpose of this two-day skills course is to provide the basic theory and skills for a daylong sea-kayaking trip in sheltered waters (non-wilderness areas). Courses include CRCA membership, course materials, exam and badge.
