Our kayaks range from basic inexpensive puddle jumpers to exotic state of the art ultra-light kayaks. Necky has been producing exceptional kayaks for almost 40 years. Necky kayaks designs have always been extremely functional and well suited for West Coast Touring. They pioneered rotomolding technology for manufacturing plastic kayaks. Deep Cove Canoe & Kayak Centre has used Necky Kayaks in our rental fleet for many years and have always been happy with how their kayaks withstood the rigors of rental lift. Necky's Looksha IV is one of my favourite kayaks. Originally founded in BC by Mike Neckar, the company is now owned by Johnson Outdoors and their production is based in Ferndale, Washington.

www.necky.com Atlantis Kayaks is the new kid on the block. British Columbia has been a hotbed of kayak production. Many of the original companies have been sold to larger US companies. Atlantis has emerged as a manufacturer of beautiful fiberglass and kevlar kayaks for multi-day ocean touring. Based in Ladysmith on Vancouver Island, their current production line is small at only 4 models of single kayaks. Atlantis is a small company that takes pride in their product and it can be seen in the details. Atlantis Kayaks' savvy boat designers have seen what works and doesn't work in other kayaks and started from scratch to design a kayak that is a blend of the best features of all the best kayaks. Greg has teamed up with South African Surf Ski Star, Oscar Chalupski, and are now producing a line of surf skis, sea kayaks and recreational kayaks. Originally produced in South Africa, Epic has now moved their production to China. Truly the first line of kayaks produced from the Global Market.
