Description

2017 marks the 16th season of Women on Water (WOW), connecting women from all areas of metro Vancouver, paddling kayaks in beautiful Deep Cove, every Thursday evening throughout the summer.

Women on Water is one of our most popular events, as each Thursday evening throughout the summer sees women of all paddling abilities come together for a relaxed, semi-guided paddle on Indian Arm. Our experienced volunteers lead the paddle and keep the group together.

There are also special themed nights throughout the summer, such as Date Night, Mother Daughter Night and the ever popular Dress Up Night, where everyone is encouraged to wear their finest dresses…as long as you don’t mind if they get a bit damp of course!

Most paddlers have some experience but newcomers are very welcome. WOW is for kayaks only, but if you are a stand up paddleboarder you should check out Social SUP – same idea but not women only, every Monday!

June 25th is our Women on Water Workshop! Check out the website by clicking here for more info on this great day of learning new skills and refining existing ones!
